(EDT COURSES)....(EDT) is a course of 12 one hour lessons,these are designed to cover certain critical driving skills,as you complete each lesson the approved driving instructor (ADI) will record your progress in an official RSA logbook issued to yourself.You should also nominate someone as your  mentor/sponser,an experienced driver,(many learners choose from a family member),who will coach and supervise your driving practice outside of (EDT) lessons, and also track your progress in the logbook. On finishing the (EDT) course, you may still need additional lessons with your (ADI) to further develop your driving skills to the standard required to pass the driving test,it is also important to practice plenty with your sponsor to gain in confidence and experience.On the day of your test, you should bring your completed logbook as you will need to present it to the driver tester.

PRE TEST (COURSES).... We also offer comprehensive pre test courses, the school car or your own car is optional,an initial competence based driving assessment will be carried out to  create a baseline for the required training. With the correct driver training and sufficient practice you can develop your driving skills to the standard required to pass the driving test,regular updates will be given on your progress. A satisfactory knowledge of the rules of the road is also required, so we will provide you with regular Q/A on this throughout the course,vehicle safety and roadworthy checks will also be given close attention,while secondary controls and under the bonnet fluid checks will also be covered. Please note that if you wish to use your own vehicle for the lessons, we must ask you for proof that you are insured to drive such vehicle,ie(insurance certificate) and that it has a current tax disc displayed, nct certificate  should also be displayed where required.
